Hidden X Banana Hill – Awesome Tapes From Africa, Ata Kak, DJ Katapila & Ruf Dug
Teaming up with Hidden, Banana Hill are back with another party! Having brought to Manchester the likes of Marcellus Pittman, Tana Sumo and Thris Tian, this time they’ve got Awesome Tapes from Africa on the bill. Anyone who’s seen him over this summer will tell you that Brian Shimkovitz does exactly what his blog and sets say on the tin. Expect a cracking selection of slow groovers and poly-rhythmic madness to keep a crowd moving throughout the evening. It’s a 6 o’clock start so get down early, but details of an after-party should be released soon.

HomoElectric with Alinka & Shaun J Wright

Alinka has always been on a bit of tear in her quest to keep house music weird and eclectic, however, weird for the sake of weird is not her style, she’s an out and out selector who knows how to keep a crown thoroughly entertained. Support provided by Shaun J. Wright, who’s worked with Alinka in the past so expect the best from him as well and all the usual HomoElectric gang to boot.

Plastic Dreams with DJ Bone & Francis Inferno Orchestra
Bringing the sound of Detroit all the way to Manchester is one of techno’s finest. Widely regarded as royalty by this point, DJ Bone is sure to deliver. Backed up by Aussie born London convert Francis Inferno Orchestra who has made a name for himself by constructing eclectic and entertaining sets and realising some high quality material as a producer. A night well worth checking out.

Test Card first birthday w Moomin
After launching a year ago to the day, Manchester’s premier A/V meetup, bringing together visual and coding artists of all varieties, Test Card has gone from strength to strength, so rightfully they have a lot to celebrate. Moomin has been booked to make the celebrations special, performing a live set, accompanied by some of the best visuals and lights in Manchester, courtesy of the Test Card team.

Inside Out X Amigos with Alexander Nut B2B Josey Rebelle
Back with their second party of the term, Inside Out are bringing Eglo Records founder Alexander Nut to Manchester for a free party. Alex has demonstrated his eclectic ability on Sunday evenings on NTS radio, covering every side of contemporary music’s spectrum from a whole host of the world’s most forward-thinking producers. Joining him will be Rinse FM’s regular host, Josey Rebelle, a DJ whose sets demonstrate an intimate knowledge of house, disco, techno and even drum n bass. Resident DJ’s and seasoned selectors, Mike O’Mara & Chris Feinmann, will provide support on the night.
